We’re moving away from W7 next season. Being harassed by the stewards in orange on a weekly basis isn’t on my list of things I enjoy at football.

I like that there is a gap between the period they’ll hold your existing seat for you and then the end of the early bird period.

So, if you went to renew and pay the early bird price. But want to move, May 1st and 2nd is when all the existing ST seats not renewed will be released for you to pick from.

Isn't that section of the stadium a bit pointless now as your miles away from the away fans

North stand nearly £400… seems steep to me.

On the subject of stewards, last couple of games stewards have been on the S4 and S5 gangways checking everyone's ticket.I sit with a brother in law,my son and grandson.Brother in law and I arrive early with one of his young grandsons,we are both seventy but the jobsworths insist on checking our tickets including after we have returned from the toilets before kick off.Anyone any idea why this is happening because when they are stopping others of our age who are reliant on walking aids, and one regular had to be caught from falling down as he had to release his grip on his walking sticks,at which I was close to confronting the stewards but his wife signalled not too, I cannot think of any situation where our age group is going on the rampage.I have asked several stewards for the reason without reply.

I'll have to check my credit card statement from last year to see what the increase is.

Yes. I'd consider going in the North Stand closer to them, especially for a little saving.

I’m in the family stand section of the west stand with a mate and his kids, looks like mine has gone from £375 last season on early bird to £395 this season which isn’t too bad.

Same as mine in the east. Not too bad I suppose.

They've been a right pain recently all over the ground, stopping folk and checking tickets, making sure no-one is stood on the steps, etc, thing is, there's that bludy many of them that they're in the way on the steps and now it's all way down instead of a few fans at the top..

There’s a little fella with glasses in an orange jacket who patrols the east stand now. Proper little jobsworth. Was on at us to sit down or we’d be kicked out. I could understand if we were blocking people’s view but our seats are on the back row , we’re not ruining anyone’s experience. We basically told him no in the end or if he goes in each stand gets everyone else to sit down then we will follow suit , he told us he was fetching the police. He didn’t, he hid behind the wall down at the bottom of the east stand peering up at us to see if we’d sat down. He's left us alone since.

We’ve had similar grief in W7 with the female steward who controls that area. She orders her minions to carry out her tasks then slopes off underneath. Ticket checks but only males was the highlight of the last match. There’s about 15/20 of us regulars in the same. We’ve stood for multiple years to no issues apart from the past few weeks. Ironically the same the orange coats take on the steps causes more grief than anything. Just a shoddy firm who are ruining matchday.

Tracking state pension is a bit poor IMHO. It's basically mirroring bus passes.

It's a decision that is in the hands of CFC and one that not all clubs have taken.

In effect it's kind of like saying to people whose state pension date has been moved by the government from 65 to 66 to 67 and so on 'hey, we know that you'll not now be getting your (max) £11,400 per year state pension for another year or two and so on and so CFC have decided that you'll not now be getting your £70 - £100 saving on your season ticket either'. You'll not be a pensioner; so no pensioner deal for you.

There's not been any alteration to the age ranges of any other categories this year. Its fairly poor of the club IMHO

She tried to boot me and a mate out earlier this season in the concourse, accusing us of sneaking in when we’ve both got chuffing season tickets.

Or.... you're probably still working if you don't have your pension, so you can pay what every other person pays.

Or... you can afford to retire without your state pension, so you don't need discounts.

I'd agree with that analysis in a world where life followed boolean logic.
