Right, who's going to be brave and say who we let go this summer, because I'm not lol.
I hope both Sparkes and Shecks are ok and recover pretty quickly.
Emphatic win, that could have been many more than the four we did score. Well done lads.

Hopefully they'll be up to Jatta and McGoldrick
Salford tried to isolate our CB's one-on-one.
Knowing Palmer lacks pace whilst Grimes has a cock-up in him (stop giggling at the back...).
The red card changed that.
Credit to our lads who probably know they'll be surplus to requirements in June.
They can leave with heads held high and with every reason to pen attractive deals elsewhere...

Agreed, if Metcalfe can play like that every game I would leave Oldaker on the bench. Almost impossible to pick a MOM but it has to be Mandy with a performance of the season. His first was a technical masterclass, the ball seemed to be behind him but somehow he managed to swivel and score, not many could do that. Boot kept us in it with some great saves and should be assured of a contract next season. Fingers crossed for Sparkes , never seen so many superb crosses from a left back.

According to their manager, so obviously a fair and honest appraisal, Sparkes initiated it by stamping on their players foot who retaliated with a little kick out which Sparkes reacted to as though he’d been swipped by a MMA star and the linesman, who was awful all game, bought it hook line and sinker.
Or words to that effect

I was behind the goal and only got a glimpse of the Sparkes incident (view impeded by crossbar) but from what I saw the Salford player lashed out. Talking to some of their fans on the walk back to the car they agreed it was totally stupid.
The metal floor on the away end certainly a slip hazard but I'm sure the Nevilles' and Co have adequate wherewithal for any Court claims.

Clarevoyant will have a field day.
Well, I was expecting the worse after his pathetic display v Accy and others in the mist of time. The sending off made it an easy game for him, with town being superior and the showing discipline by not getting drawn into things. As the game progressed Drysdales confidence grew and his inter reaction with the players was clearly visible which was missing v Accy bordering on arrogance. I did think he was generous in not cautioning their diminutive number 10(Hall) who ran around like a petulant schoolboy (perhaps he was) who'd had his 'dolly mixtures' nicked.
The sending off, excellent work by the lino doing what he should, 'having the refs back'. Both players were grappling before, during and after the corner, their player lost it and clearly kicked Sparkes in the back of the leg Sparkes as all players would enhanced the severity but definitely Good night Vienna. From my vantage point Robinsons claim of a stamp is spurious and a poor excuse, if he'd been stamped on, he have been dead for 2 minutes if their tactics at our place are owt to go by. Robinson wants to be asking 2 questions 1/ why do a 'football team??' have to prepare a pitch like that? and 2/ does the answer to the previous question tell you why under 2K home fans were in attendance.
MOM a different one for me for 600+ too travel to that dump ona Tuesday night in a run of form were witnessing is excellent and reflects on the desire and passion shown for the club by the fans so my Mom goes to the ones who have generated the above.
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
Never the twain shall meet.

We were and I was predicting a win before the red card. We were the better team throughout the 90 minutes.
