Nhs Dentist

This week I've recieved a letter from the surgery saying they are not renewing their NHS contract, if I want to stay with them it's ?21 a month for their membership, with 2 free checkups and possibly 10% off future treatment, (very generous?)
Also they will be shedding around 70% of their client list, this at a time when NHS dentist places is at an all time low..
I thought it pretty poor form to not mention this to say i was their last week, and also explains why he didn't want to start any new work, which would now probably cost me a small fortune as a private customer, needless to say they will be getting told to stick their membership where the sun don't shine...
Ps anyone know a good NHS dentist who's taking on. 🤣

It used to be a fantastic dentist until they got taken over 2021/22ish.
Over two appointments, for a crown, I spent nearly two hours sat on their uncomfortable waiting room seats. OH has had several occasions where he's had his check up appointment cancelled on the last minute.
We're Denplan patients with them, probably not for much longer.

I got the letter, too, and have managed to get my family in at Clarence Road.

I was at Genesis at Matlock and got a very similar letter saying they were going private and the plan was ?21 a month
I initially signed up but then found out the one at Holmgate road at Clay Cross were taking more NHS so I registered there and cancelled the Genesis policy
As far as im aware the Clay Cross one is still taking NHS

The place seems a mess. Senior dentists leaving. Appointments cancelled last minute. Shunted to an upstairs temporary room round the side door. Cheap though 😂
