I'd like to add donacien to the bin off list, if you can't stay fit.. get rid..
We look woefully disjointed, poor old sparkes was covering the entire left side by himself, we have no goal threat from pepple, (tho his hold up play was almost acceptable) but there's no one getting close enough to him to help him,..
Madden, I hope he's sold or released on a free to someone for next season, if not he can have the empty seat next to me,.. what a waste of (no doubt) good money..
And God help us if oldaker starts a game next season... holds the ball forever and then plays it nowhere helpful...
Other than that the rest were worse..
I think Fleck might be worth a punt next year.........................................wait for it. That was quality. If you noticed, he kept looking for someone ahead to give to but ended up going sideways.

I think one person has suggested he might be done here; nobody else has.
I've travelled about a 400 mile round trip and paid to get in, for food and a drink. So, if it's orate with you, I'll be critical of a sh?t performance.

Since Carlisle away and the departure of Markanday, the form has been no better than Morecambe, in fact we?re comfortably bottom 4.

Not just on about on here? Social media is awash with the nonsense. Who said owt about criticising a bad performance tho? it was Bunkum , I?m all for it if it?s bad it?s bad but why start wanting to make wholesale changes. It?s pathetic. Also don?t give 2 shiny shites how far you?ve travelled bud. Don?t go 👍🏽🤷🏽♂️

Oh I agree, I was talking about the starting outfield 10, fleck was pinging 1st time balls out to Duffy on the right inch perfect, his awareness of players around him is light years ahead of anything else we have, we need him fit for a starting place come next season.

Edit
Sorry that was goal difference😂
Sutton and Forest Green got 42 - makes me feel a little better
We?re 16 points above the bottom 2.
We?re not going down.
We are only 6 above 20th though.
It?s very sad (and poor!) that we?re even having to look that way.

good goal by duffy, some excellent crosses from sparkes that we should have made more of, fleck's passing was different class. we gave them a 2-0 lead and never recovered, our defending at times was frightening. tough day in a tough period for the club but i take a longer term view that the club is in a healthy position and will enjoy a positive season next season.

We have recruited absolutely appallingly, let?s not beat about the bush. Signed a bunch of crocks, whoever was in charge of that and whoever passed their medical wants sacking?oh wait I heard we have a new team in doing them recently.
Cook has to take some of the blame too for this, we?ve gone out and wasted a lot of money, and that can?t go unnoticed. Not many involved today I would have sticking around - Sparkes, Boot, Dobra, Duffy and struggling beyond that.
As for today, our NL back line, exposed for just that. Grimes has had another stinker, again. Just nowhere near good enough, Palmer chucked in and also well off it against their paces front line. Centre midfield non existent, pass completion rates of Metcalfe and Oldaker in 1st half looked about 25%.
Club really need to not end the season like this, season ticket renewals are coming round, and we?ve got so much momentum off the pitch (another good gate today) we can?t let that falter and fail, it?s a once in a generation opportunity. Such a shame the season will die a death like it has, it?s not a great league at all and with some better recruitment and a more cut throat approach to players clearly not good enough at this level, we?d have been in and around top 7 no doubts.
Wish I hadn?t got plans for Colchester and Barrow, but think I might park Tranmere and Wimbledon now. Those two days out alone will probably pay for half my season ticket next year.

It's nice you have such a mature appreciation of how far fans are willing to travel (at considerable cost) and an encouraging view of how to increase attendances. I'd call it 'thick' as f?ck; you'll understand that because, you've used it several times to describe your fellow Spireites. What a lovely bloke 👍🏻🤷🏻♂️

Can't deny his quality, but if we can't get him fit and finish the season on a run of games... he's gotta go.

Its ok saying we can rebuild on the summer, but we will be needing 9 or more new recruits, and whats the chance of such a number gelling enough to challenge for promotion in their first season together?
