To be honest they look bang on to be relegated next season, there will be some proper big clubs in League 1, and there is no way they will amass enough points to stay up.

I’m pretty confident we will go up as they come down.

I find Scabs fans funny because, yes they’ve been in a league higher than us for the past 7 years or whatever, but going back that’s very rarely been the case. Think something like 16 seasons in past 110-odd years, and 7 of them have been the last 7, and they’re calling themselves the bigger team. Also funny to try and mock the SMH - can be a bit soulless in fairness, but it’s not a dilapidated, three-sided shithole is it.

My personal encounters with most Mansfield fans is that they are a genuinely bitter bunch. We spent near on 25 years above them in the league in the 90s/00s and 10s, won league championships to boot, FA Cup Semi Final, Johnstone’s paint final twice, while they won a very weak Conferenece league with the likes of clubs like Histon and Hayes in it.

I've always found it a really strange place, not only the football club, but the town itself. I was once persuaded to go Christmas shopping in the dump. My wife came back with a lucky charm from a street vendor and I found a George Formby record amongst the just in box in one of the many charity shops 😳.
I have noticed that there are very few UFO sightings over Scabfield, but I've a feeling it's all to do with the townsfolk searching the pavements for tab ends to use in their next roll up 😁.
Strange place, best left to fester.

They are just a strange bunch, won F’all for years and riding the crest of a wave as a club and some rare time being better than us and the crest of that wave is still going to only lead them to finish 19th in L1

Natural order will resume as always and they’ll be back playing in front of 3k in that 3 sided hovel
