It’s ridiculous. His grudge has gone on long enough now. He doesn’t have to speak to Staton. Brian the Miller absented himself for a season owing to Staton. He’s been back some time now, interestingly not when Staton is on though. Surely Cook could speak to Paul Fisher, Adam Oxley or Andy Giddings none of whom have upset him.

He can do what he likes. The fact he doesn’t talk to Radio Sheffield has no affect whatsoever on our games. If they upset him and he f’ed them off then good for him.

I used to be an ardent listener and contributor to RS.

But their pathetic lip service to the scandals surrounding Carson and Co. - in fact on all too many occasions Allen forelock tugging - left me totally alienated.

The excellent Graham Smyth humiliated them on every level.

Not given a flying fornication since and fully support Cook's boycott...

Without wanting to sound confrontational but the one thing I find ridiculous is the amount of threads you start, Zigs.

Danny does a good job, but we get little enough attention from them as it is and Cookies attitude doesn’t help. As I say he doesn’t have to talk to Staton (who I agree is arrogant) there are other options. Surely he could at least speak to Paul after all this time?
