However, an attacking player farts in the box and it?s a free kick to the defending team.

Exactly where I stand too. It's a crazy situation when the defender has the advantage knowing that unless he commits GBH on a player in the box, the ref won't point to the spot.

Instead of watching the corner kick being taken I focus on the box and we're just as guilty. I don't like it but if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

The last few minutes at Bradford was one of the worst examples, defenders doing what they wanted knowing they wouldn't be punished and then to make matters worse a free kick was invented against us to relieve the ref of his dilemma. No wonder they don't add the correct time at the end knowing they are exposing themselves to such fiascos
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
Never the twain shall meet.

There's a lot not to like in football these days mate, but as you rightly say,we can't beat em so join em, and send Jamie Grimes up for every free kick and corner and tell him to run in from deep, as not much stops him running in 😁.

It's a total farce, and as I have said many times, where is this new rule book available to browse showing officials can make their own rules rather than following the official rule book.
When did the rule come in that stops the line 'person' from making a decision, and allowing the fourth official to make decisions when being twice as far from any event than the lino ?
Watched a game on MOD attacker dragged to the floor, defender laid across him and commentator saying VAR did not think there was enough contact!!!!!!!
Rule book, referees, referees follow rule book.........simples.

Its become a bit double standards with corners with defenders being warned prior to it being taken to stop doing things etc but then once the ball is in flight they will quickly blow up for a foul by the attacking team. There was a push a few years ago in fact it could have been 2018 where there was a clamp down on it and England benefitted from it getting a few pens at the world cup for people holding players etc then like a lot of other things after a big deal of it for a while it disappears again and its back to normal.
