What a difference half a season makes:
Opening XI vs Swindon in august:
Boot, Tanton, Naylor, dunkley, Gordon, banks, oldaker, Jacobs, Colclough, dobra, Grigg
For one reason or another we could only see Naylor, oldaker, dobra play tomorrow (unless banks is back)

His ban is up, and I'd rather see him than oldaker..at least Banks plays forward passes

I'd say Banks should be nailed on tomorrow.
Oldaker needs a rest/kick up the Khyber Pass...

But Oldaker does score important goals. Our big problem is we hardly play attacking football down the middle.

It must be team instructions not to shoot from distance, or someone would try it.

Statistically, you're much more likely to score a goal working it into the box than a pot-shot from distance. Players can't win. They have the ball 25 yards out, hear the groans of 'Shooooooot' from the crowd then have to put up with the jeers when the ball ends up in Tesco.

When the goals dry up and wins are harder to come by supporters bizarrely want to see it lumped forward to a 7 foot striker. I don't get it.
I'm happy with cooks approach. I much prefer a patient build up knowing the stats say something better is generally the outcome. Thank God cool is in charge. Folk on here would happily see Denton back
