Righto, must have played in a black kit originally ??

On a side note, who's pompey boss, he must be getting close to the sack, not going well in the league and 2 down to Wycombe atm.

They're certainly playing like they're on the training pitch. I wouldn't be impressed if I was the manager.

FA Cup sadly on its bottom. This and the crowds last night truly abysmal. Just look at the turnout at Bramall Lane

Aren?t Wycombe the latest millionaires plaything?

Sheffield United always seem to get poor cup crowds and have for years. Goodison was sold out and decent crowd at Fulham.

The premiership clubs would rather expand the European competitions than give the FA Cup a good go. It's becoming a chore to play in for them.

I?d like to see changes brought in so it matches the German and Dutch League rules. Make the Premier League clubs play away, introduce them in Round 2. Return the fixtures back to Saturday afternoons. Let the winner enter the Europa League.

Yes mate, anything to make the competition more like the one we used to love. I hate it that the competition has been so downgraded, and all by the hand of the Premier League.

I don't agree about the prem teams having to play away, clubs of our stature dream of those glamour ties, like our trip to Stamford Bridge, Anfield Etc,

Interestingly the premiership clubs seem more interested in League Cup and the FA Cup these days. Gone are the days where the top teams fielded fully fledged youth teams. They just do enough to get through that round utilising their whole squad. Clubs much further down the period have that same attitude nowadays and just look at the comments on here about priorities.

One thing I was shocked at though is that they still find time for a two-legged semi in the LC but have ditched FA cup replays even in rounds they don't participate in.

I think the majority love the competition when their team is in but can't be bothered by it when they are out. Gone are the days when it was the focal point of the season. Cast your mind back to 1997, not may people cared about the semi final wrecking our chances of promotion even though most realised the impact.

Watching both Villa and West Ham tonight, I'd say they were in training mode most of the game and I'd say a decent league one side would have given either of them a good game.
I've always loved the FA Cup whether we're still in or not. I used to work a lot of Saturday afternoons during the summer months, so couldn't get to watch the live game as I once did, so now I'm retired, I try and watch as much as I can including the final.

Well, I don't like Man City but I hate the love in with Salford, although I'd usually back the underdog, I'm in sky blue socks today.

I might be in a minority of one, but all this talk of Cup football makes me wistful that we arent in the 3rd round this season. The possibility of a bit of giant killing, with no pressure, and the knowledge that coffers will be swelled.
Oh to be Accrington at Anfield, or Tamworth at home to Spurs or Bromley at Newcastle.
