Just listened to Wellens.
For info, as it's hardly a revelation. Dilon's agent instigated the contact with Orient. Just guessing, but it would come as no surprise to me or anybody else if an agent manipulates a situation to engineer a fee.

If you read Markandays interview after signing he is very happy to be there, looking forward to proving himself in a higher division, blah, blah, blah. Not sure he quite kissed the badge, but its a reminder of how football really works.

As Paul Cook said, it's history. Markanday was never our player apart from half a season. He's gone and good luck to him, but we move on and it gives the likes of Drummond a chance to show what he's about.

Dallas said that word for word when he signed on loan at Barrow.

I really don?t like that Wellens. Comes across disrespectful in some of the things he says in that interview IMO, and I seem to remember him barely giving us any credit last year when we beat them in the cup (funnily enough it?s still clearly bugging him that a ?non league? team beat them comfortably as he alluded to it today in his presser).

As for Markanday, no point dwelling on it now he?s gone. Was a very good player for us but I do feel some people have gone a bit over the top on him. We were fine before him and we?ll be fine after him, we?ve still got some excellent players in those areas & wouldn?t surprise if Cook brought another in now that Markanday has gone. As Cook said today in his interview, ?we just move on?.. nothing more nothing less

Wellens is a piece of s*it. Has a real problem with Town. His conducts last year was disgraceful when we beat them in the cup.

Left us now, thank him for his efforts whilst here, but really couldn?t care less what he does in his future career, unless he finds himself back with us. I?m as mercenary as him.
