The left-back has penned a deal which will keep him at Vale Park until at least the summer of 2027 although the terms of the transfer have not been disclosed by either club.
The 23-year-old, who played under current Vale boss Darren Moore during his time in charge at the Terriers, has previous League Two experience from a loan spell with Harrogate Town at the start of the 2022-23 season

The 26-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with League Two's bottom side and joins for an undisclosed fee.

Embeleton seems like a big risk to me, but this seems a much better signing for them. Williamson must be keen to start moving towards a style of play more similar to the one he played at Gateshead

The 19-year-old midfielder made his senior debut for the Blues in 2023 and has made a total of eight first-team appearances.
Khela has played for England Under-17s and also enjoyed a five-month loan spell with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership last season.
"It was a different experience going up to Scotland. This will be a different league, a different challenge. It will be much tougher I feel, but I'm ready to take on the challenge," said the teenager.
Bantams boss Graham Alexander said: "Brandon is a young player with bags of energy and enthusiasm. He's highly valued by his club and we're delighted he's chosen to come here."

The 25-year-old is a product of Chelsea's academy system, scoring 53 goals for the Blues at youth and reserve team level.
Following a loan spell with Belgian Pro League side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in 2020, Brown moved on to MK Dons, Cheltenham and Morecambe.
Barrow defender Chris Stokes will leave the club when his contract ends on 5 January but the Bluebirds have announced the loan signing of Kyle Cameron from Notts County.
Stokes joined Barrow last summer and made 12 starts in the league, most recently at Tranmere last weekend.
He will be available to face Harrogate on Saturday as they look to improve on a run of two wins in their last 16 League Two games.
Centre-back Cameron spent the first half of the season on loan at Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone with his last appearance coming in a 4-0 defeat by Celtic last Sunday.
He will remain with Barrow until the end of the League Two campaign.

This one always seemed a bit strange. We played Wigan a few weeks ago and there weren't any of their players that stood out as owt better than we've got and Stones couldn't make their squad. Also Oldham fans raved about him and due to history you have to be sceptical about their knowledge
Plus wouldn't it be funny if Stones helped York pip oldham to promotion

He couldn't make the squad as he was out on loan.
