Anyone know what?s happened with Akinola? See he played 16 mins for Dagenham yesterday, so assume he isn?t pulling any trees up, but just curious as he?s not even listed on the squad page of our website anymore - according to the club we signed him to May 2025.

Yes, I think it was very early on during his loan too. No chance to shine, but there's a footballer in there.

There is, but not a good one, can only see him dropping into regional football

Thought he had huge potential when he first arrived and I would have liked to have seen him play more often, however as is the case with lots of players at his level simply seems to have dropped off.

I'm always happy to give our players time to get it together, whether it be Akinola, Hobson, Drummond or any of the under twenty one squad. I will agree though,there does come a time when time has to be called on a player. I'd love to see him playing back here after doing well with his loan club. Hopefully, he's on his way back now and starts to shine.

Good, I hope he gets a decent run in the team and shows that he is a player and that Cook was right to bring him back to the club.
