Too slow and he was running scared today. A few times almost gave them a equaliser. Needs to be a back up player at the most . With the injuries we have then cooky as to play him but he's not good enough for L2

Unbelievable comment , Grimes was excellent today as was all of the team , cracking win. Were you even at the game?

Yes I was he is way to slow almost gave them a equaliser his passing is so telegraphic anyone knows where it's going .
Today he had some good times but like most where I sit say the same . He is a bench player . Naylor should be captain grimes couldn't organise a pack of cards let alone a back 4

I think it?s 50/50 - If Cook identifies a left footed CB as an upgrade, I think he might be released.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Quigley was lorded for being a ?tryer? or ?hard working.? Grimes puts a shift in every week. He?s clearly developed under Cook. He should get the same fanfare as a player who?s never going to be a world beater but gives his all and is generally steady

I think we have to remember we need a squad and not just a first team.

If we had not got a decent squad we would not have picked up the points we have with half that squad injured.

He was not alone with 10/15 mins to go,most of the team where defending deep, having given their all for the cause. The only looks on their faces was determination. Also not helped by the number of free kicks given around the box every time their players threw themselves to the ground and as per norm the bigger the player the easier they went down.

Watch the highlights that big sub that came on towards middle 2 Nd half grimes couldn't keep up with him and if he's the player everyone says he is if you know your slower you either block his runs or give yourself a yards start . just hope dunkley etc come back from injury soon then he can be dropped back to the bench again.
Forest green is a good club for him along with that donkey that was Quigley.

We won today. That's 3 wins and 3 clean sheets on the bounce.

To a man, we were superb today. I'm proud and I expect many others are, including the players. If you want to pick fault with Jamie Grimes and his performance today, then it says more about you than it does about him.

I saw what his last minute winner against Barrow meant to him and the three points today.

PS. 5th in the league and 2 points off an automatic promotion spot.
