Not to mention they both played key parts in the match winning goal.
When you've got Dobs, Mandy, Dilan, Coco and Banks starting games, it takes the pressure off the defensive and attacking lines, they make us tick.
To a man, I thought we were superb. The lads should be extremely proud of that performance today.

Absolutely agree. I thought he was going to come off for Horton. His work ethic is appalling.

He was my MOM today, all the best parts of his game on show and none of the lesser ones.Best showing this season by Mandy.
A perfect display of playing as a team IMO,and once again in far from footballing weather.
The starting 11 gave everything,I am a proud Spireite tonight after that showing,at the risk of abuse from certain members I have to say that the work rate of Berry compared to his colleagues was rather underwhelming. Also felt that the opposition were trying for penalties and got away with the usual two arms round the throat style of defending on many occasions.Would love to see referees actually follow the rule book for the basics and it would be easier to get the bigger decisions right.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to all my fellow Spireites and I have asked for a Dilan Markandy as my present.COYB.

I'm not digging him out unnecessarily, as he's clearly got a lot of talent and he's done lots of good things for us. However, he started at Wigan, went to Hull, and we bought him from Macclesfield. If you make that drop then there may be something that holds you back from fully maximising what you have. It's not just about talent. He's 24 now. At some point he's got to bring it all together.

Hopefully Cooky has some players lined up to join us from Jan1st to cover for injuries, Martin Waghorn has become a free agent 4 days ago after mutual agreement to cancel the contract at Northampton might be worth looking at. Hearing Fleck back in training

Fleck was training in the video shared the other day. I hope we don't get desperate enough for Waghorn but you never know.

When Hobson was getting ready, it could well have been Berry he was replacing as he was putting the least effort in despite having been on 30 minutes less than the other 3
Great win that! Rode our luck last 30 minutes or so but probably deserved it for our work rate rest of the game. Gutting about Colclough picking up an injury
Finally, for all the smart bottom remarks about the kop and the crowd being outsung by 20 or so fans, that noise in injury time deserves some credit for the fans

I think having a cancelled contract with Northampton after such a short period is a big warning sign around his neck no matter the reason
On the other hand Grigg was obviously struggling with something today. If we are down to just Drummond for a while it might be time for PC to consider his short terms options.

We definitely need another viable option from Jan 1st. Obviously I've no idea where we are budget-wise but given we look like we have a fighting chance of 3rd spending a few quid on a permanent signing will be a temptation.
