Why should damage to a scoreboard screen effect what goes on on the grass?

That's true, with their brittle bones it could be carnage with a bit of a breeze.

I wish it would rain by The Faces.

I love the original (The Temptations), and am far more Small Faces than Faces. However, just listened to this cover, and it's brilliant.👍

It looks like a scoreboard on the stand roof. But seems like Crowley and jones injured so bet they didn?t go out their way to fix it

It?s difficult enough to find a plumber at short notice, never mind someone to work at height in a strong wind

Love em both mate, and I think Steve Marriot was one of the best voices of the 60s/70s,plus his song writing talents with Ronnie Lane are second to none, and double plus, Marriot was a much better guitarist than most give him credit for. The Temptations version I've heard but I still like the Faces version best. Talking of the Small Faces, have you seen the tribute band Small Fakers? They're worth seeing if you get the chance.

Issue at county are some panels of the scoreboard over a stand are hanging down and could fall down onto where spectators would be. Will need scaffolding or cherry picker to fix which are likely iffy in this weather as well even if it could be done in time. Seems their SAG have said it?s not safe to go ahead.

They have a duty of care to their customers, if the damage to the board could have impact on the spectators they have to postpone
