So back on topic.
It seems Le pen has been doing a crankie
She was using funds for staff to pay for staff in a non supported area. Using EU funds for support staff and using that to fund staff for French elections.
That’s fair enough and I ain’t gonna cry over Le pen being banned
But - this doesn’t seem to be going down well in France. The fact that many mainstream politicians are saying the right of office should be decided by the public and not the courts, many of the public saying while they don’t like Le pen it’s not the judiciary who can make this choice could well back fire and raise support for the party
And of course if marine stands aside and her younger niece and deputy stand they can sell it as a new start.
