Strange game. We had a lot of the ball but didn?t really do enough with it. We had that 15 min spell in the first half where we really should have scored, the keeper making four fine saves. We didn?t create an awful lot in the second either. Grimes looked onside to me for the disallowed equaliser.

Cap duly doffed for the strike for their second, albeit Shecks misjudged the flight of the ball and allowed Harratt to get the wrong side of him.

Maybe we deserved a point but not too many complaints from me. On to Bradford who will be buoyed by their result today.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

Berry has had some magical moments so far this season, but his anonymous games are now starting to outweigh his magical ones. At least he probaby won't be going anywhere soon. Maybe not even in our first 11 if he doesn't shape up.
Thought Sheckleford, who I normally rate, was also very poor today. Lots of poor and or / negative passes even when we should have been pressing forward.

We can?t, as fans, expect us to win every game particularly with the predicament we?re in. We have a cracking squad, probably the envy of many teams in this league but injuries are proving to be an issue.

It?s times like this (as Cookie says) that the club and fans need to stick together. I?m not giving up, I?m not conceding anything. We?re not rubbish, we?re a good club with a great squad of players and we?ll be ok.

Folk on here constantly wanting to change players positions irritates me but Hobson filling in upfront could work actually. I wouldn?t expect too much from him but he?s a strong lad that presses well and could probably hold his own as a make shift.

I like Hobson and he's not easy to knock off the ball either. I'd say he could play as far forward as striker and as far back as defensive midfield.

I hope Berry isn't gonna become some sort of whipping boy.

Today only underlined what we already know - he's an impact player who simply wouldn't be doing eighty minutes were it not for the injury crisis.

Any thought of a move, let alone a money one, is gibberish.

Same for Drummond. He and Hobson would still be at their loan clubs but for needs must.

Kinda shows Cook was right to prioritise others over Sheckleford, too.

We'd also a young central defender at left back and our preferred central midfielder in central defence.

Today was a game too far for our 'mix and match' squad remnants, but condemning them without that context stinks...

Why play a young central defender at LB, when there's a LB sat on the bench tho??
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Just goes to show how we aren?t ready at all for L1. Needs to be a bit of a reality check. At the start of the season I would have taken mid table and a year of consolidation and would still do so. We had 33 year old Naylor and 34 year old grimes at centre half. We have two aging centre forwards, one of which has been injured and prior to that hasn?t really got going. We need an extra couple of bodies in centre midfield. We have done brilliantly well so far especially considering the injuries however we need a few changes I think to progress

Unfortunately you?re just being a drama queen & one of those that expect to win every game.

Exactly, and with half the squad missing too. Hopefully, in the next couple of games, we may get a player or two back from injury and I have my fingers crossed that Araujo hasn't been added to the numbers of longer term injured.

A game too far for our walking wounded. Need players back from injury ASAP.

We have no right to expect we should beat anyone. They played a good game, their second was unstoppable. You need to show a bit more respect to our players and our club.

You?re losing touch with the club, you don?t get it.

I thought we played ok, we had 3 bites at a cherry and still failed to score, Drummond tried but you would just rag him all over at this level, he isn?t imposing enough, crying out for a big strong young striker, I?d take our end of year position if offered it
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

Thought we played well just didn't take our chances thanks mainly to their keeper and also their sub keeper at the death.
Gift wrapped with a bow on it defending for their first.
Gift bag prezzie from Sheckleford for the second (not heading it and letting it bounce) but their lad pulled out a worldie.

The only decent save he made was the one in the corner from Mandeville and you'd expect most to save that.

The young lad who came on was tiny and was nearly embarrassed by Cook's terrible cross.
