Don't think we played particularly badly, or them particularly well. Different game if Grimes' goal had stood, as it probably should have

Dozen players out injured, no fit centre forward, and we were the better team. I?m disappointed with the result but under the circumstances can take it on the chin

It?s absolutely nothing like that he Harrogate game

Only dropped one place and Walsall the only side above us to win. Keep it tight until January and still a hell of a lot to play for.

gave it all we had and on another day that grimes goal stands and we probably go on to win it, always seem to lose on boxing day.

I honestly think they should have played Drummond on the wing and Berry up front. Couldn?t have worked out any worse could it?

What?s Quigley doing this Xmas period?

We can all play at being managers though can we not?

We have a very depleted squad and it is difficult to criticise.

Personally, I would have started with Horton at LB, Naylor in CM, Aroujo partnering Grimes, and Hobson up top.

But, eh, I know nowt and Cook has to manage the players fitness wise until he can bring in reinforcements and add a few players returning from injury. No doubt, some of those players out there today are carrying knocks.

Team looked leggy second half. Berry just not putting in enough effort when you compare him against Markandy and Dobra. Basically we looked pretty toothless against a poor Fleetwood team.

To be honest we?ve had **** all luck this season. Injuries, non penalties, controversial refereeing decisions. How we are still in a playoff place is beyond belief given the circumstances.

To be in the position we are & the adversity we?ve faced with multiple injuries in the squad, it?s pretty admirable to be fair.

Folk on here constantly wanting to change players positions irritates me but Hobson filling in upfront could work actually. I wouldn?t expect too much from him but he?s a strong lad that presses well and could probably hold his own as a make shift.

According to 1866 commentary it was Dobra

It absolutely is admirable, chap. In fact, I'd say it's been a rollicking success, so far, even if it hasn't all been the pretty ride we'd hoped for. Thrashing sides like Crewe and Doncaster showed early on what we could do (and probably raised expectations a little too high) but half the lineups that started those games are in the infirmary, wrapped in bandages. Under the circumstances we're doing really well and it's all to play for.

Definitely opportunity lost but a good day around us.

Only concern is the 7-11 chasing pack are all picking up points which could see a drop to mid table happen before we get a chance to add some reinforcements.

As expected once I saw the side really. Grigg's absence was always going to hurt us. Drummond for all his willingness just can't occupy defenders physically. And so much of our success has come from being able to interchange the front 4 with players of a similar level who can take advantage of tiring legs and we had nothing to offer in that respect.
