As fit as a butcher's dog which has been hoovering up all the fatty offcuts for years.

I am surprised that there was no mention of the pitch invasion during that
Solihull Moors debacle of a match

Martin Allen was pretty not fit for purpose.

There was one game which broke his (and my) heart. Can't remember which, but all Loz Maguire had to do was head away a cross at the far post to give us the points. He got bullied and we conceded. I've never been so depressed. Allen came on't wireless and kept on repeating 'one more header, that's all I needed'.

Yep, useless left winger. He is one of many that had a half decent career, before they came here..

His legacy was crossing the ball for Will Evans to head the equaliser past fat boy Ashmore in the infamous 3-3 against Ebbsfleet

I don't think it was the best game, but it certainly was one of the most dramatic, capped off by Evans putting on the keepers jersey and saving the penalty. As the saying goes, if you wrote the script it would be rejected as too unbelievable.

My grandson is just 14 so he has many years of watching Town in front of him. Up to now, this is his best game. I hadn't been taking him regularly but this, for him, was the game that got him hooked, he's now a season ticket holder who adores the club.
We all start somewhere, and that game was his.
