Wasn't Horton injured the same time as Palmer hence why not included in squad? Honestly thought he is just coming back - looked OK today and got an assist

Horton is only just coming back from injury and can still be added to our L2 squad.

Personally, I would add him in because, for me, Aroujo is best played at LCB.

I wouldn?t have thought Grimsby will have played a particularly strong team which you?ve got to factor in

Enjoyed that.

Good game o' football.

But remembering it was just a glorified friendly.

Positives: the win, Berry, Williams, Horton. Oldaker maintained his excellent form too. Mandeville continues to be Mr Consistent wherever he plays.

Negatives: think we can write off Fleck, Grimes' injury means we're down to only two fit centre backs, hara-kiri style defending akin to last season.

Wembley here we, erm, come...
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

This defence is awful. I think it would ship goals for fun in the league below.

Point proven. You are really a dummy

Good game of football with both teams going forward. Felt like there was more tempo to our game and we seemed to cross the ball far more than in recent weeks. Let?s hope that this continues

Is one reason for more crosses that Horton played? He can clip in an excellent cross.
He worked well with Colcough when they played together.

According to Webb, Grimes, Araujo and Jones maybe at the weekend. Waiting on Metcalfe's scan and Thompson 4 weeks,
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

i too enjoyed the game, thought we played well, scored some good goals and some valuable minutes for players, williams and horton in particular and until he went off we saw once again the value of jones, yes people will say it's only a nothing game but the game still has to be played the right way and good to get saturday out of our system so quickly.
nice to view the game from a different perspective in the ground too.

If 4k a week is true then there needs to be some serious head wobbling.

I was buzzing when we signed him and I hope it?s nothing tonight and precautionary because on his day he?ll be the leagues best midfielder by a country mile. But 4k for a player returning from long term injury on a season long deal is crazy. I remain optimistic that this is purely speculative.
Of course its not true.
