Not sure I?m a fan of one off kits, see you can buy it in club shop, not sure it?ll have many takers!

Anyone know if we are auctioning off the match worn ones to raise money for Poppy Appeal?

Not sure why we couldn't have had poppies on our normal shirts. The wrong shirts added to the mess and confusion yesterday.

if we arent donating anything to the poppy appeal then it comes over as a tacky cash in, the type of which we thought had stopped when we got rid of the previous lot.

Ash Kirk has openly said his plans to create more revenue through merchandise was exactly this sort of thing. Limited edition, one off type things from time to time over the season. Didn?t assume he meant a 3rd kit but it is what it is.

Pete Whiteley said it had sold out within 15 - 20 minutes of the shop reopening.
There was a massive queue outside the shop.

Can?t quite make my mind on the kit.
Didn?t particularly like it really, would rather have a home blue shirt with a poppy memorial on it.
Hopefully we don?t wear anything but blue again at home.

PS these qusetion marks are doing my head in…..

A different kit other than blue at home has proved unlucky.
Never again please.

I liked the kit, but not so much the result. I have a coat that I won't wear to matches, because about three seasons ago, I wore it several times and we lost each game. It's now a moths dinner.

Anyone recall our FA Cup home tie with in 1961 v first division Blackburn, runners up the previous season at Wembley?. In those days it was tradition that both teams changed colours when they clashed. We played in an all white kit and thrashed them 0-0

Sounds like every time we play in a White shirt we cant score. 0-0 Blackburn, 10-0 Gillingham and 0-3 Accy. Is there any occasion that we may have scored playing in white.

I think it was only the players shirts that had the poppy on them, the replicas in the shop don't have it on.

Away kit in 96/97 (cup run) season was white. I assume we scored in it........

We've had a host of white away kits in just he last 10/15 years mainly with blue trim but one with green trim quite recently.

Not very many under JD. Away goals were collectors items.

Give over, every team on tv did the same thing. Get with it we are a captive audience and your wallet is fair game.

Don't know about the 1961 Cup match but thought by then it was home choice.

Playing competitively at home in other than blue since 1950?

11/02/50 v Chelsea FAC R5 1-1 red/white/red
06/12/56 v Barrow FAC R2 4-1 white/black/blue
18/10/72 v Charlton FLD3 1-0 white/white/white
09/12/72 v Grimsby FAC R2 r 0-1 white/white/white
23/12/72 v Grimsby FLD3 2-1 white/white/white
30/12/72 v Bournemouth FLD3 1-1 white/white/white
28/10/80 v Rangers ASCQF2 3-0 red/black/red
10/03/84 v Peterborough FLD4 1-0 red/black/black
Five wins, two draws, one loss
