Very poor today, Accrington deserved the win?but these refs are doing my nut in. Another blatant hand ball and penalty resulting in another yellow card for Cooky?and an assault on Naylor for their 3rd goal when the ref was not even looking?what?s the point in a 4th official when they cannot point out obvious mistakes. Where was Ariujo and Fleck today?anyone any idea? I?ve been a fan of Grimes but he seemed out of his depth today?.we really need a plan B, it seems to get easier and easier for teams to cope with our style of play

All managers know how we play, so they set up accordingly.
Just once in while it would be nice to wrong foot them.

There can't be many refs still on the circuit that have had the privilege of officiating at both the SMH and Saltergate.

Mr Drysdale certainly got my gander up in an innocuous Tuesday night 0-0 draw v the cobblers whereby they wasted time from minute one, blatantly kicking the ball under the advertising boards (A boards then) at every opportunity. We'd got them under the cosh at the end of both half's and he added minimal time.

His time keeping ain't improved. 2 minutes at half time sent out all the wrong signals. IE carry on time wasting it don't matter.

If we'd been given that f.... obvious pen how many think we'd have lost?? The game would have been totally different.

I've said this a few times but crap game changing decisions don't go our way.

Unbelievable?.. only two for me that could hold their heads up tonight?.. Naylor (got more forward than any of our midfielders and apart from the 3rd goal which was a foul did ok) and Markanday - only creative player today for us.

Surely it has to be Naylor?s last game at centre back. He is far more valuable further forward.
As is Mandeville too.

We were well and truly knifed by Stanley today.

No complaints. Let's hope it was one off and our freak defeat of the season.

Move on.

We were told three weeks ago , weren't we that Dunkley was 2 weeks away. I agree - Jaamie G is not first choice - maybe someone to bring on if we need some headning power.
I think you can take the medicine, give the Stanley some credit ( they are always a bogey team for us) and get the two centre halves back. For me- a few issues from today's game and the squad 1) We need a big-hitter up top but not in the indulgent, egregoius categories of 3 or 4 players we've had over the last 5 or 6 years. 2) Why was Fleck signed ? Should have been month -to -month, no more 3) Question mark over Boot.

If the injured players are injured - who else. Doesn't like Williams there. Why did he re-sign him??

Remember, at the beginning of last season, when the authorities said they were going to properly add all the extra time needed to cover stoppages, resulting in 17 minutes for the second half in the first game of the season v Dorking?

How was there only 2 minutes added to the first half today? Long goal celebrations and the game stopped for injuries, (even though the physios didnt come on.)

Interesting post match comments from cook. Thompson out in warm up, arajuo and metcalfe one pulled out today and the other yesterday.

Most interesting comment was the we have good players, not a good team yet one.

Club tweeted at half time that replica shirts are available from the club shop after the match for ?55 adults / ?39 kids (no mention of any proceeds to RBL).

yep i think that comes from us not getting a settled side espcially in the defensive end of the pitch.

Not sure it was offside but it was definitely a foul in the build up on Naylor.

Looked offside at the game, and very likely per the highlights.

thought so too but lino on east stand didn't seem to see much at all today, one blatant corner for us not given by him one way or the other, almost stood there motionless waiting for the ref to give something, ref also no clue decided safer to award goal kick, grigg complained, had a chat with ref who allowed accy to play the goal kick whilst he was still stood talking to grigg,
