Berry is a promising talent but yet to perform consistently.
Colclough has featured sparsely over the last year or more through injuries
And most of all Paul Cook has repeatedly and consistently improved the squad with pretty much every signing.
You really should let this petty little sniping campaign go. I'd say you were humiliating yourself, but everyone knows that was established a long, long time ago ..
So transparent, isn't it? Anyone else you'd be forgiven they're genuinely concerned, but with him you just know he wants this to happen and for us to struggle. Even if you don't know his history, the wording gives it away. "The loss of these 3 will be devastating" as if we are, without doubt, going to lose all 3 players when in reality we may end up with all 3 still playing for us come the end of the transfer window.
If that scenario happens, then it could be devastating... but it won't be, because we have a manager complete with a #BloatedBackroomStaff who will plan for all eventualities and who will have a plethora of attacking mids on their shortlist ready to pounce should it be required.

As for Berry, we have taken him from the 7th tier to alleged intrest from from tier 2. The development fee for Berry would be very close to, if not excede what we paid Macc, so should he go before his contract expires or stays, we will not be out of pocket.
Berry is already 23, so he has had his last season, 23-24, where a development fee could be due. (Due in the season of the 23rd birthday).
I?m sure Macc will have negotiated a decent percentage sell on fee due to them in any event.

He 'hopes' we are planning for all eventualities though

I actually didn't realise he was that old. Thought he was about 21

Exactly, ones not ours, ones an impact sub and the others always injured
I reckon we could go with
Dobs
Madden
LM
Behind Grigg
with Banks and Jacob?s to bring on
Drummond will need to be recalled

The fact we didnt seem to mind Drummond and Hobson playing in the FA Cup suggests they might stay out on loan longer term so wont be brought back unless we really need to.

But you said the loss of an "impact sub" and someone "always injured" will be - definitive - devastating!?!
Also remembering the sale of Cooper funded the arrival of Clucas during Cook's first stint.
You're embarrassing yourself, but hey - what's new...

Thought someone said DM is out of contract end of season - thus can't be extended.
Even if what you suggested happens, at the end of his loan, Blackburn end up with Berry and Markanday - which would suck

After the tripe served up by Allen & Carson, it's hard to comprehend what doom and gloom actually is in our current position.

I for one believe we are in a better place than we have been for years.
Long may we prosper.

DM rumours of a recall in January strengthened by the FA Cup omission
JB rumours of big bids in January
RC maybe off for other reasons
Hopefully we are planning for all eventualities
Did you make a mistake and really meant to say "would be devastating" rather than "will be devastating"?

I thought being a supporter was about erm, supporting your club, and wanting what's best for it going forward. I must be getting it all wrong, probably down to my age and watching my fair share of garbage from the early 60s onwards. We've had some great times with some excellent managers and we're riding a rich a vein at the moment. We're watching exciting stuff on the pitch and we're secure off it. Speculation is great, and what the forum's about, but doom and gloom isn't my way, so I'm 100% on the same page as you.
