Anyone know why the board is constantly producing glitches? The most notable being apostrophes showing as question marks but there are others. In a recent post I made a number 2 I hadn?t typed kept appearing and wouldn?t delate.
Doubtless the awkward squad will say it doesn?t matter and doesn?t deserve a thread but it is irritating and looks bad.

I left a comment or two regarding problems on the 'End of an era' thread recently as that was where items were raised to Al through the summer, but it would seem the relevant person is not currently checking out that thread,and I agree it is rather annoying/distracting.

I made a living as a wordsmith so am usually pedantic about apostrophes and grammar.
However, I live in exile and am so grateful for the information that I am happy to put up with the glitches.
Whoever runs the board is still doing a good job, for which I appreciate.
When I do the occasional post I just go back on to edit out the pound signs and question marks.
So I do not, written in full to avoid the apostrophe, think it is a big deal.

I’m here still… I’ve been looking into this and am currently scratching my head on what’s causing the issue.

I should probably explore if we can upgrade this version to the latest2 release, we have enough money in the pot to afford the upgrade fee - though we’d probably then need to top it up to cover next year’s hosting bill.

I’ll try and dig into it in the next week or so.
