Not sure the side is too easy to guess today (it very rarely is)..

I'll go...

Thompson

Tanton
Grimes
Williams
Horton

Jones
Fleck

Jacobs
Dobra
Mandeville

Grigg

Today's ref Martin Coy officiated in what could be described for those who haven't managed to erase it from their memories one of towns worst ever performances a 5-1 defeat at Crewe which fortunately was the final nail in gormless Gary's stint as town manager.
It should be noted Mr Coy had a good game, someone had too!!

Edit
PS. Looking at the team?? that day who the hell was Matt Briggs

Free transfer from Colchester on STC, Left back, played 13 times, was travelling from Colchester every game. Funnily he ended his career at Horsham.

We?re going stronger than that I reckon

No Fleck though unsurprisingly, imagine he will be on the bench though

Hope to see him for at least 30 mins, and then a start against Grimsby in the BSM next week

Played a few games for us and was (maybe still is) youngest player to play in the premier league

Ps. Just checked now 3rd youngest

Wouldn?t be ideal with Boot injured still. I?d imagine Markanday maybe?

As said elsewhere possession and patience are key.

Big day for these, so they'll reconcile any lack of quality with in-our-face graft.

Nowt stupid, don't give 'em owt to cling to, let them chase a ball passed between our players, then wait for concentration levels to drop.

Early goals could mean an easy afternoon but just happy with the win...

Webb said yesterday he was in the 'matchday squad'. I would like to see him start on that basis.

Given that our loanees are season long then I don't understand why the parent club would stop them from playing in the FA Cup

I hadn't heard anyone had. Surely he's nowhere near being needed by Newcastle.

Just what I thought, when I read Greenies post I thought 'does he actually mean our loanees out'and meant to post asking for clarification.

Lets just hope it's not Horsham who get one!

Mind you, Alfreton did last night and look how that finished up.

Where has this come from anyway?

On general principle if there is a clause in the loan deal to review it in January then it could be an issue especially if another club is showing interest.
