Correct mate
How many more innocent children have to die?
The deterrent for carrying these knives simply is not enough
These savages know they can carry these weapons and brag about it
Its time Starmer grew a pair and did something about it not just empty words

Although the issue of carrying knives is on Starmers watch now, this has been an issue for some years and is seemingly only getting worse.
There?ll be the crying that there?s not enough space in prisons, but seemingly enough to jail scores of right-wing rioters, but IMO if you are detained in the street carrying a knife or any form of offensive weapon it should be a custodial sentence without question.
Start giving these pieces of dirt 18 months inside simply for being in possession, regardless of if used or even attempted to be used.
Carry a knife, go to prison.

Unlike gun crime in America, knife crime here is more difficult to police. I have over the last couple of days heard that government officials and police are putting pressure on the likes of Amazon to be more stringent with regards to the buying process. They can make it as difficult as they like but anyone over the age of 18 can buy a knife. If a 16 year old wants a knife, he/she gets an 18 year old to buy one. its not difficult to make that happen.
I don't have the answers, but I don't think many people do including the authorities. Educating kids about knife crime from a young age has been going on for years but the problem has got worse so in my eyes that's not working. It's impossible to remove all knives from the streets, these amnesty boxes at police stations aren't even scratching the surface. A teenager (or anyone for that matter) who carries a knife everyday for so called "protection" isn't going to give them up easily.
Will stamping down hard on people carrying knives work? I'm not convinced, not even with the threat of some serious jail time. But the chances are if a copper stops someone they suspect are carrying they are demonised for being racist (if they stop a black/Asian person) or do gooders shout and protest at being in a police state, sticking cameras in their faces to try to incriminate them in some way. Where knife crime is concerned I suspect morale in the police force is as high as a snakes boll_ocks.
I am not saying give up, there has to be a way to sort this out be it by taking a hard line or by other means but if a hard line is taken, then the whole country has to be behind it and our police force has to have the support of all of us.
We can argue the to55 on here as to what should be done but it means absolutely nothing, The Home Office won't be reading this message board.
Back to the subject of these three kids and those injured in Southport. My heart absolutely breaks for their families, they will live in heartbreaking pain every day for the rest of their lives. As for the perpetrator, he has nothing to give to society and he never will. I wouldn't want the death penalty for him but I would like him to suffer pain and mental anguish everyday for the rest of his life. Sadly, his incarceration is not a deterrent to the thousands carrying knives around our streets this morning.

Seriously?
Why do you say this ?
I don?t give a shi it what Farage or Wooton or anybody says, there is no angle to be had here, just a tragic case of an inhuman savage killing innocent children
If they are saying the law needs to be changed to protect further children from dying then so be it

I don't think they're 'grifters' Mike - whatever that means, but I do think shock jocks like James O'Bigot are irresponsbile. He excoriated Farage's character live on air. If some nut job had been inspired by these insults and made a life threatening attack on Farage then I would have expected O'Bigot to be arrested for creating hate and division and inspiririg a terrorist act. However, given our political two tier justice system at the moment, I wouldn't hold my breath. LBC's owners have a duty of care toward their employees. In O'Bigot's case, they should take him of the air to protect his fragile mental health.

In much the same way - brain rot - can be applied to those who welcome and applaud the arrival of illegal migrants, numerous of whom hate everything our country believes in and go on to plant bombs and murder people with knives. Do you think blood on their hands is an appropriate description for these people?

Yes, there is significant blood on the hands of the Tory Government of the past 14 years as they are the ones who had the power to resolve or at least attempt to limit the issue. Agreed completely, well said frears.

We agree, the Tories had blood on their hands but I recall you also applauded and welcomed illegal migrants. Doesn't that make you pause and reflect?
