With you on that one. It's a poor manager who listens to advice from the armchair coaches.
Tonight was better, but we were still left wanting at the back.

I'd say at the back 'wide open' vs Greece, just 'open' vs Finland. But I agree we looked a bit better.
If we were against a better strike force tho, we would have be beat or drawn at best.
I always picture, when chances are missed, what Ronaldo/ better players would have done with that chance. The answer would have been score.
Anyway, all ifs, buts and maybes - England not looking great. I'd say in a period of transition

I?ve not problem with a foreign boss, and I?d hoped they?d have moved mountains for Klopp, it does seem they tentatively approached Pep, but I agree TT seems a bit left field, but I?d take him over Carsley.
What I did find intriguing was the Sky Sports chief football reporter saying is it time for two England managers? One to guide us through what is nowadays an almost forgone conclusion in the qualifying groups to get to major tournaments, then a big gun like Pep taking over for the actual tournament. Personally I think that?s ludicrous and can?t believe it was suggested.

What a bizarre idea.
Re a foreign gaffer, I'd alway have in tbe back of my mind that if they came up against their native country, they'd have a conflict of interest.

Well our managers are crap so not much choice. Also I highly doubt there?d ever be a conflict of interest.

Im a closet Chelsea man & I can confirm there is absolutely zero chance the press will break this man. They may however find some of his questionable evening locations interesting. Bloke absolutely loves a London sex dungeon, allegedly.
