Lets hope they do not score to find out then lol

Looking forward to this, It will be a proper game against a very good, fit team. Back in the day I think it was my favourite 'derby'. Alan Buckley, Bernie Wright, Ernie, Kev......
'Fierce' is probably the best descriptive word for the encounters. Not for the faint hearted, and I'm sure there'll be lots of their older supporters who remember the rivalry and who will be present. Bring it on. If we get 'owt out of the game I'll be happy.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I've a vague recollection of going on a club double decker to a cup game at the Baseball Ground v Walsall. I can't think why, unless it was a neutral ground cup replay or somesuch. I'd take a stab at 1976/77. I seem to think that we lost.

Beanie f'in Wright fluked the winner by missing a header and the ball hitting his gigantic shoulder and looping into the net. The winners prize being a trip to Old Trafford. F... our luck

Correct we lost 1-0 to a Bernie Wright goal in a 2nd replay so Walsall went to Old Trafford in the next round, I was really annoyed as my Dad wouldn't let me go

One of favourite away games of all time was at Walsall. We were chasing promotion. We won and lormor did a 20 knee slide to celebrate a goal in the torrential rain.

I had been on Wilmot tours bus and stopped off at Alan birch pub before the game. Happy, care free days

Cracking goal but your memory is playing tricks, not a knee slide. Watch the video😁

I remember well as Roger Hynd there tall centre half came flying over the small barrier and the drop too straight in front of where we were standing and I think 5500 there that nights attendance

My memory plays tricks with that goal too, in my mind he hit it further out every time I think about it, now convinced it was a 45 yard screamer 😂 was there that day, the ball was heading straight at my head, luckily the net was there
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

They are issued as paper tickets game by game.

N1 & N3 are ST sales from what I was told by a lady in reception. N2 is for school promotions. N4 general sale & N5 opens up when the demand merits. We have been looking at getting out of W7 now it?s essentially become a cr?che and moving to the north stand.

Library Bingo

What minute will the compulsion to sing the cringe worthy "football in a Library" song be aired by the visitors, regardless of the atmosphere at the time.

Yes I know our lot are as bad when we are away.

It's still crap, my guess 20-25 minutes

We managed that within 5 minutes at Vale, along with the factually incorrect 'Port Vale's a s5it hole' when Burslem fits quite nicely.

Worst chant in football. Every ground in the 92 and beyond is a library, apparently. I?ll go earlier, 10-15.
