I thought it was a pen on first look?.leaned towards it and it struck his lower arm?.that said I?m not sure I 100% know the handball law these days as they keep changing it.
The tackle was hefty and led with his foot up which likely didn?t help his cause. A few years ago he?d have been fine but these days it?s not received well by officials.

A clear cut a penalty (forget this VAR interpretation bollux). The tackle on Dobra was straight out the 70s. Good shout for a second penalty given the mess the handball rule is these days.
Doncaster were so much second best they tried the rough stuff - they don't appear to be experts at that game from what I saw.

Said at the time - it looks the first time he's been really hurt this season and given some of the outrageous stuff that has been happening this season - that is saying something

Got the ball first but nasty follow through, def yellow if not more in the modern game.
Dobra got 2 rows of stud marks on his ankle and a cut across top of his foot from it

I said to my mate he?s only given that because of the huge shout behind the goal. Didn?t give the second when their defender basically saved it with both hands though so swings and roundabouts.

I agree re-the penalty, said straight away not a pen for me, but we've had a couple (at least) that were stonewall not given.. so that's 1 back

You can rate a referee by not noticing them all game
Todays ref was not noticeable bar the big discussions
Hence he had a very good game

I agree deffo penalty. His arm appeared to be at least a foot if not more away from his body when the ball struck him.

Could well have given another against Anderson when he slid and it hit his arm but it was a more natural hit

I hear you. But, to be fair to football fans across the board, a blood curdling scream is a pretty good indicator of the truth. Shouts tend to be somewhat half hearted when we, or they, are just being hopeful ☺️

I don't think Dobra's injuries would've been as bad as they are if modern day footballers had better foot protection, those studs just sliced through the top of his slippers. Still a red card though.
