Britarse has already made the very silly statement that there was no point winning away if you are going to draw at home. Of course drawing home and winning away is the same as wining at home and drawing away which is usually the measure of success. Whilst Walton has taken against our new right back despite most rating him. Still it makes a change from him criticising our old left back Horton.

The RB from Fulham will be class. Confident of this, not sure what the situation regards his fitness is though
The two bigger issues for me are, we need a CB to play alongside Dunkley to get Naylor back in CDM & we need a better option up top than Quigley as a plan B.
We aren?t far off a side that should be in and around the play offs though

Isn't Araujo that man? I think JG deserves a go first when fit though.
Poor JQ didn't touch the ball when he came on I don't think, if he did I missed it.

Potentially, but again wasn?t involved yesterday. Expected him to come into the side straight away like Tanton did. Assume they both have injuries of some description. Not sure which one of Banks or DJ I?d drop, both have had good games, both also been sloppy at times. DJ perhaps slightly edging Banks so far

Personally I wouldn?t be moving Naylor from CB. I think with him and Dunkley we have potentially the best centre back partnership in the league, they are that good. Midfield IMO has been brilliant so far this season, so see no urge to put Naylor back in there and the risk of moving him isn?t worth taking, even for another CB coming in (where?s the guarentee they?ll be better than Naylor? Cos the likelihood is they won?t be)

I tend to differ.
Dunkley has been effective on the left but his premium position is right. And now we have 2 fine CH's vying for the left. We'll be at our best with our best players playing in their best positions.

Sometimes the reason a player does not get a touch of the ball is because of the very fact that he was not in receipt of a pass. Grigg hardly touched the ball yesterday either.
If you do not get the ball to your strikers it is either because the final ball is not good enough or the opposition defence were excellent. I thought it was more of the former than the latter yesterday.

Boot
Tanton Dunkley Araujo Gordon
Naylor DJ/Banks
Markanday Madden Dobra
Grigg
A bench with Berry/Coco/Mandy etc on is going to be ridiculously strong. Don?t think Berry is droppable at the minute but that?s the only way I see Madden getting into the team, unless we did as ODL says and just rotate the strikers, which is again something I wouldn?t be averse too, and keeping Berry in the side and Dobra more central (probably his best position based on the last 4 games)
A very nice problem to have in all honesty

Grigg had 16 touches of the ball so why have a go at Quigley maybe the problem is not playing the ball to the centre forward

I wasn't being critical of him particularly. He was though on the pitch for 10/11 minutes of play and I'm quite sure didn't touch the ball.

Which ?fine? left sided centre halves do we have? And by ?fine? do you mean mediocre or ‘fine’ as in quality?

It's a long old season, he'll be integrated when ready, I think mid season it's difficult to see the wood for trees, especially this early on.
Araujo looks good from what we've seen but he still only has 1 (one) senior professional appearance so that's probably a factor.
Dropping DJ vs Banks is a big decision - but ultimately they'll both get plenty of playing time one way or another

Daley Cambell is looking stronger each game, whilst Gordon on the other flank has been awesome.

I liked Daley Cambell from the go, but I wasn't impressed with Gordon at first, but he's just gone up several gears. I can't see Horton unseating him, that's for sure. He has everything a left back needs to do his job, he's a fantastic signing. Both defensive flanks have had a massive upgrade from last season.
