Are they being sold yet?
I know the Kop is virtually sold out to ST holders this season but we?ve held back rows A-C for general sale I assume like previous seasons.

Gotta couple of mates wanting to sit on the Kop as that is where our STs are so been waiting for them to be released

Surely they should be just out on sale straight away now given there?s only about 10 unsold seats on rows D upwards

Kop is showing as full as it stands on the ticket website so its when they decide to open up further rows. To be honest apart from W7 there isnt much available that isnt front row anywhere but the North Stand!

Bout time someone from the club explained the reasoning behind holding back those 3 rows til the last minute?..and those seats in the east stand. I cannot think of any reason, be it safety, stewarding, etc etc?.it?s just bizarre.

Which seats in the east?

Front rows of kop normally sold as last resort when most others are sold , maybe safety reasons or maybe because the other seats cost more. 😂

The view from the front row seats in any of the stands isn't as good as any others, you are almost sat with your head at pitch and due to the crown of the pitch, you can't see the players feet/ball on the opposite side of the pitch.

I don't know why anyone would want those seats, ahead of others further back in any stand.

There's not many further back on sale anyway until we open up more blocks in the North or East but most of us sit on the Kop, so mates don't want to go in another stand and have to have a beer before or at half time on their own so more social angle rather than wanting a better view.

No blocks to open on east from what I saw when first opened for sale.
First two are away around 800 then half of 3 is the segregation.

They don?t need to block half of E3 for segregation?just 2or 3 ?columns? of netting would suffice.

Agree
Will lose around 200 seats unfortunately

N4 and N5 just opened up so plenty of high up seats available now.

There's still stuff that needs answering at the club - as a West stand season ticket holder, it doesn't mean much to me but still head-scratchingly bizarre - power, maybe?

Things like this happen way too often to be coincidence imo

My guess and could be wrong is the safety advisory group are having a say on the front 3 rows in the kop not being sold and probably telling the club to not sell them until all other available seats are sold

I think they may have done a while ago and then its just something we've carried on doing. Not sure if opening those rows means different stewarding is required or something like that.

Yep if we can sell them, which we obviously can, they should be released from Day 1, especially given the rest of the stand is pretty much sold out to ST holders.

Heres a crazy thought, why not open up all the seats and let people sit where they want? No messing about waiting to see if a certain section opens up. We have season ticket holders in all 4 stands now so not like we are saving anything on stewarding.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Now that is an original idea. To say the club have made some great decisions and got everybody happy again, I don't think this should be too big an ask.
