Prediction League Call For Entrants

The start of the new season is just a few short weeks away and that means only one thing.

The return of the prediction league!!

Firstly a big thank you to mhgreats who did a fantastic job with the Euros prediction league.

Then 2024/25 season will be the 7th season of the prediction league and during that time has seen it grow from one division to 4 divisions.

SpireiteRachel will be looking to defend the Division title. Last season had 60 contestants and it would be great for the prediction league to continue to grow.

There are no planned rule changes for the new season.

The first set of fixtures to predict will be released on Sunday 4th August and the first set of head to head fixtures confirmed on Friday 9th August once numbers are confirmed.

To retain your position in the league, just confirm your entry and retain your position by replying to this thread and you are entered. For any new players, just reply to this thread and you will be entered. Only enter if youe are committed to predict as we have seen some entrants lose their first game and not be seen again and this is unfair on other players.
Existing players can enter predictions for family and friends if they are not members of the board as this happens already.

All you have top do is enter the predictions for the selected games and pick two games as your bankers to score double points and I do the rest. Just check yours and your opponents scores to see who wins. Results are posted after each round. Tables are shared after 3 rounds.

There is no age limit to take part eg Clarevoyant or ability eg Westbars Spireite or BlakeSeven, I am tempted by bribes eg Travelman and love the great banter that appears through the season.

As always there will be 3 stages during the season where promotion and relegation is confirmed after each stage. Therefore if you have a bad stage, it can be quickly forgotten as you start the next stage

I look forward to seeing all regulars and newbies taking part.

Newbies will join the league in the bottom division but have the opportunity very quickly to progress through the leagues.

Remember though thats its just for fun and of course bragging rights with your mates and family.
