Starmer becoming more and more irrelevant and on the sidelines of UK politics. Not a good look for our pathetic floundering PM.

I’d imagine around 99.9% of those who saw that probably did as well. He has zero credibility.
Seeing him smugly go to his notes to request the questions and address the press, tieless and jacketless with sleeves rolled up, to then be totally and utterly humiliated and metaphorically gutted by what up until now had been had been some of his staunchest allies was beautiful to behold.
The question is though, why?
Why, when this was meant to be a full on assault on Nigel Farage, the press pack on mass suddenly turned on him with such venom? Almost as though a switch had been flicked.
Interesting.

There is such a dearth of talent in parliament at the moment. No one, from either party, in fact all 3 main parties, stands out.

It's worse than twenty nineteen.
A pathologically lying narcissist versus a naive protestor surrounded by far too many anti Semites.
Yet now we have a terminally beige personality vacuum versus a temporary amateur with a hard right con-man enjoying an entire TV station as his own personal propaganda platform shouting from the sides.
No wonder the polls are so volatile.
Focussing upon my own party there is growing dissent, though. Of course the usual suspects would have us believe everything revolves around immigration, however feedback following the recent elections said losses were far more centered on economic policies.
Specifically the WFA and benefit removals.
I'd say it's virtually certain these will be addressed, yet, again, done so in a cack-handed manner. Just own the errors. Admit them. Be chuffing honest and put ordinary folk first.
This is in no way a defence of a Starmer my opinion of whom I've already made clear, but being in power means Labour at least have the levers to dictate direction...

How on earth will that benefit working people. This government really does hate ordinary everyday working folk.

It was quite something; a totally unexpected and aggressive assault on the PM. That's dictated from elsewhere, so things are in play and his days must now be numbered. The only issue they have is, who will replace him - the selection is beyond dreadful.
Still, I'm thinking Gary Lineker must be in for a shout; he's clearly influencing certain high ranking folk - I mean, he's only the Attorney General; he only represented Gerry Adams...and a big mate of KS. The embarrassment continues.....

It’s all of that.
He’s far out of touch with what ordinary folk want it’s scary.
I’d love to know who’s advising him Chris, clearly someone who is blind and deaf and hasn’t ever met anyone outside of London
