The tories projected over 4 billion for the same period back in 2019
Working out roughly to over £4,500 per tax payer in this country for that period
Not sustainable this carry on…

The yearly cost of accommodation, that’s just accommodation, is now going to be more then the saving on the WFA.
No wonder Labour are so hated.

Both leaders are in the same place - rock bottom. Quick wins are desperately needed. The extent to which they are manufactured/fraudulent/artificial will come out later.

Not sure an agreement with Trump's Government is worth the paper it's written on anyway

Would that be giving them.liwer tariffs so we get back to where we were before Trump...?
No mention of reduced growth for next year (and below the average for the rest of the world)...?
At least interest rates are falling even if inflation is forecast to rise. Will hurt the oldies with no mortgage and big savings at least!

This from the i:
Quote
- An end to the 25% tariff on UK steel and car imports into the US
- Negotiations on reducing the 10% global tariff for UK imports into the US
- No reduction in the 2% digital services tax imposed by the UK on US tech firms
- New reciprocal trading rules for high-quality beef
- An assurance that the UK will get preferential treatment if the US imposes new tariffs on pharmaceutical imports
- Other reports have said that the deal will include the UK cutting its tariffs on car, meat and shellfish imports from the US.
And yep, I'm on a tracker now

Anyway, the Labour party are coming back from the dead. It's a long 4 years and things can change in politics in mere days. Improved relations with the EU are inevitable. Here's to the sunny uplands folks!

(Verse 1)
There’s a new day rising, fresh on the breeze,
Hope in our hearts and change on the streets,
Keir’s got a plan, steady and strong,
Bringing us together, moving us along!
(Chorus)
🎵 Starmer's Labour, building fair and true,
Working for the many, not just the few!
Jobs, green dreams, a future that’s bright,
With Keir and Labour, we’ll get it right! 🎵
(Bridge)
From classrooms to care homes, he’s got your back,
Truth and decency, leading the track—
It’s time to believe, to rise and to shine,
A better Britain, now’s the time!
(Chorus – repeat)
🎵 Starmer's Labour, building fair and true,
Working for the many, not just the few!
Jobs, green dreams, a future that’s bright,

Mind you I hope it’s good deal and not some way of shafting UK workers like the Indian one is.

More right wing lies. Provide evidence that this the deal is shafting UK workers, bearing in mind the agreement relates to workers who already work for an Indian company being temporarily transferred over to the UK.
