This all “started” from the Rotherham grooming gangs, how long ago was that? 10/15 years ago? Has she not had time to come up with a better response than waving her hand and calling it a dog whistle? Useless and cynical.

I think they need to do something along those lines if they hope to retain any sort of power in 4 years time. They probably need to shift right on immigration but I’d want them to shift left on pretty much everything else. This would bring them in line with a significant portion of the electorate imo. I dunno just thinking out loud. Nationalise the country and bin off neoliberalism.

There’s not a chance Labour would do the same as the Danes, human rights lawyers and Dtarmer would be in their eye holes, but something has to be done.
Otherwise I don’t think many people would have an issue with it.

Clearly something drastic has to be done with regards to illegal immigration in this country. The Tory approach to stop the influx followed by similar by Labour isn’t working. We’re paying millions to French border security to walk up and down a beach doing absolutely nothing. The lack of any action is why Reform’s hard line suggestions are appealing to the public. It’s a cluster fuck.
