There weren't. That is unlikely to happen again this season.

Metcalfe could well have been carded late on and probably should have been.

I thought the ref had a decent game too but their manager thought their disallowed goal was not offside and they should have had a penalty near the end.

I cannot even remember that they had a claim for a penalty.

Up with play, unfussy, not self-promoting. Best ref for ages by miles.

Stonewall booking.

As soon as Metcalfe fouled he put his hands up, I?d imagine partly to accept his poor touch and partly to accept he yellow.

Not unsurprisingly, their manager thinks rather differently:
Sadler confirmed he received an apology from the match referee Sebastian Stocksbridge, who appeared to miss a clear foul on substitute Jamie Jellis with moments to go in the game.
?It?s a stonewall penalty that we should have at the end, and I also think from what I?ve been told, although I can?t say because I haven?t seen it myself, it looks like it was onside for the one that Connor (Barrett) scores,? Sadler fumed.

There were over 9000 at the game and I cannot remember any screams of ?penalty?.

Then from where I was sat I was not surprised the disallowed goal was called offside.

Did anybody see this mystery penalty?

Was it the 1 where colclough kicked their man on the edge of the box while trying to clear the ball?

That's the 1 I thought we got away with. But after some of the decisions we've had this season we may have evened some out now.
Here we go again!

Was it?

I do not know and you are querying it like I am.

And, as I said, I did not hear any screams for a penalty during the game itself.

Did anybody?

I'm pretty sure a couple of their players turned and appealed to the referee.
