Mandeville in training. Nine on the bench, probably includes all the walking wounded

Anyone on here owning up to having the pre-school kid on their shoulders flicking wanks etc at the home fans? Mildly amusing I suppose but not exactly Dad of the year 😆

Agree with that including the ref was fine bit, apart from time keeping.
It really boils my p when has tonight 5 minutes is added, the side in front go on ultra time wasting mode, p about taking a goal kick ref tells them to get on with, p about taking a corner ref tells them to get on with it, p about taking a throw in (twice) ref tells them to get on with it, all taking appx 3 minutes. We then get a throw in well in their half and chance to put the ball into the box for one last chance and considering the immortal words of an ex Derby manager " it only takes a second to score a goal" but as the clock ticks to 5 added minutes not a second extra there goes the final whistle and we were therefore denied that chance by a ref who clearly observed what was going off but did nowt about it.
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
Never the twain shall meet.

Hobson did ok
New right back was a bit too negative imo, not sure on Daley either tonight, no worries though
Berry had a stinker, looks heavy imo as though he has bulked up, but looks slower, he has zero idea off the ball and out of possession can?t defend, reluctant to take players on snd got released in second half only to square the ball , cut in and let one rip be aggressive in the attack
oldaker is an interesting player , he is brimming with confidence and looks absolute class, his close control is superb he rolls players for fun , can he keep it up and build on a brilliant if not surprising start
Oldaker is annoying, he does all you say, then releases the ball, it's either under hit, over hit, or it's a suicidal ball, ie played into a dangerous area that's putting the player under pressure immediately.. just needs to pick his head up and have a look at times, pick better passes..

I hope we do all of the above when in the same situation

First thought was what a pit of a city of derby Is. Terrible road system, unfriendly people. A soulless place that I won?t be in a hurry to
Visit again.
I terms of the game I was very happy at half time. We came with a game plan that left a willing runner in Quigley isolated but tried to make midfield tight. You could see cook was gunning for a
Strong last 30 mins.
We kept at it. Although physically overpowered in some situations we were always in the game and I thought we bossed most of the last 20 mins without really threatening.
Came away a little frustrated but did well. Derby have nothing to come this season.
I?m now looking forward to our first win sat

If he can get rid of that flaw in his game, he'd be destined to play, at least, two leagues higher.

You must have been at a different game to me last night. He hardly put a foot wrong and he was outstanding. Criticism for the sake of it, I suspect.

Think he must have been talking of last seasons Oldaker. He has come back a different player in the two games to date.

Derby.
For all their shortcomings still an outfit two tiers above us.
And PC clearly used a low key competition as an opportunity to field fringe players.
Some of whom did better than others, which is kinda what happens every week.
So a novelty evening out for our fans, but can't feel anything other than 'Meh' over the scoreline.
Our only priority this season is re-establishing ourselves as an EFL club, nothing more or less...

Pirloesque last night, with perhaps 1 misplaced pass. Best I've seen him play.
The conundrum is that whilst we are so comfortable on the ball in the deep, our biggest threat Dobra doesn't see enough of it further forrad. He seems to burn up an awful lot of energy without reward.

He's had a 'reward' twice in two games though.
