I believe Ash Kirk said we'd set our budget last year on gates of around 5000. If true, we certainly blew that out of the water. I wonder if we've stuck our neck out this time round and gone for 7000. If we aren't pushing for top spots, then numbers will inevitably drop off. An average of 6500 might be a good bet

We will average more than 7000 this season comfortably even if we finish bottom. If we're up and around the top 7 we will average 7500-8000.

Croot mentioned on RS tonight that they?ve budgeted for gates of 7,000 this year so you were bang on the money with that

We won?t sell 500 more now. 50 more likely but 5500 is an amazing effort.

Crooty might be including the complementary ST's that may still have to be distributed to VIP's, family members, volunteers, staff etc. That's not a criticism. They must number in the scores, maybe even hundreds.
