They both deserve to lose.

But France will probably now beat Spain and get to the final!

I hope so if we get to the final. They're a rotten side who haven't scored a single goal themselves from open play in the tournament. I would fancy us to beat them.

The two most boring sides - that final is written in the stars, 0-0 or 1-1 and decided on penalties

Chris Sutton stole that quote from a certain Bill Shankly talking about Everton

There was something slightly tragic about watching ongoing Ronaldo's failure to accept that the passages of time have blunted his skills. A supreme player but not good enough at this level any longer.

Euro 2024 had been a bit disappointing so far. All the big teams are afraid to lose so are playing very tactically to cancel the other team out. The good hand have been between the tens who haven't got anything to play for and weren't expected to do anything.

So, to quote a word I've recently heard somewhere, maybe today's the time for change.

To a three-four-two-one.

A left footed Saka at LWB.

The right footed Alexander Arnold at RWB.

Greater freedom for Bellingham and Foden.

Get it into the box for Kane.

Early, simply, repeatedly.

Southgate needs to have a go out and have a go rather than go out without having a go...
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Sound like Trippier will play at RWB. The safe option as ever.

Yep, the system that would genuinely allow Trent to thrive. I bet he's fuming!

Last nights Portugal game was a game of two veterans one a 41 year old Goliath of a defender willing to give every last ounce of energy for his country and another who was too vain and too selfish to say too his manager ? I will give you everything for 60 minutes?..instead he offered nothing in a tournament too far by a long stretch, he may love and have carried his country but in this tournament he failed it.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

And a manager too weak and fearful to do what everyone else could see needed to be done.
