Slight aside but funny stat?.

? There are more club appearances in the #EURO2024? final squads for Alfreton Town, Darlington & Weston-super-Mare than Bayern Munich, AC Milan & PSG?

Palmer and Toney time Gareth.

50% right mate! Watkins was the call as his pace is better than Kane and Toney!

He will still start with Kane on Sunday though...

I think basically based around the number of appearances that Watkins made at Weston super mare and Pickford at Alfreton and Darlington.

I suspect same but Shaw instead of Trippier. Which tbf I would be happy with. I've moaned about Foden being played out of position and his negative play but he was my motm tonight magnificent and exactly how he plays for city. The flip side is Bellingham didn't shine so much but I am putting money on him either scoring or assisting this weekend...

Little anecdote for folk......
I bumped in to one of Tom Curtis's best mates yesterday morning at golf. It turns out Tom is currently in Germany working in the England camp running the rule, scouting, England's next opponents as they emerge. He'll be hard at work now typing his report.

Anyone listen tonight to 606?
(It makes this board sound like it?s written by the world?s leading football minds)!

One clown rang in saying it was a disgrace that England had no-one scouting opponents for up coming games??..

Interesting article originating from the BBC here.
I wonder how many of the EFL referenced club message boards had posts that stated that so and so wasnt ready to step up a league? (Cos how many times do we read that on here?)

Will the anti Southgate moaners now shut up please? Probably not because they're idiots. Southgate's substitute scores the semi-final winner! Just shut up now and accept that this is England's time and GS is the best manager England have ever had, as I've been saying all along.
Southgate has just done what his critics have been calling on him to do. That proves the critics right I'm afraid. I'm just thankful Southgate finally saw sense.

Yep GS saw Kevin556866 on Twitter telling him how to coach as he has a Sky subscription and has 5 pints of Carling before getting (late) into his seat at Arsenal, and thought ?I had better listen to this guy???

It?s the first time we?ve played well for an entire half in the tournament. Closest to this was the first 35 against Serbia. Apart from that we?ve been dour. Thankfully we?ve been gifted a charitable route to the final. Last night was one of the first times I?ve seen Southgate make proactive, positive changes and it was great to see. He realised that the Dutch midfielders hate defending, so it allowed space for Foden and Bellingham in behind them. He brought Watkins on to stretch play and Palmer on to find him which obviously worked beautifully for the goal. The Dutch got it wrong with how they set up, they allowed us time, space and overloads.

Of course he did! Just shows the intellectual capacity of the anti-Southgate 'experts'.
