Can?t believe a manager would risk relegation and put all effort in to win one game

Time is a great healer, I enjoyed it, fair play to Marc White for a job very well done.

I enjoyed it too tbh. Really had us sussed. Cook was very gracious in defeat too.

Not for me it isn't. I have a dvd of 1997 and still can’t watch it.

To what extent will this be a blueprint for teams wanting to beat us next season ?

Surely Cook is not that naive.

After beating us they didn't win another game for the rest of the season. I don't think Marc White is the tactical genius being suggested in this thread.

I do expect us to be a little less gung ho next season and, whilst still carrying a strong attacking threat, we will need to offer more protection and more security in defence.

I suspect teams are more likely to have scouted us in the weeks leading up to the games and picked stuff up from that which will have more bearing on trying to beat us than watching some YouTube documentary about how a team beat us on a plastic pitch they were used to playing on when we put in probably our worst display of the season!

Tactical genius, don?t make me laugh, White is a foul mouthed yob with too much money who came up short when he took on experienced football people.
He caught us on a bad day on a plastic pitch on which previous evidence suggests we are bloody awful.

Are all clubs gonna install plastic pitches then?

Our players are seasoned professionals. They can play on plastic but admittedly the advantage is for the home side used to it. My point is nothing to do with pitch quality, more to do with tactics of closing us down quickly, give us no-one to pass to because they are marked and forcing us to go long, which is not our game.

Top sh..housery.

People, I'll not credit them by classing them as coaches are taking good money out of the game and turning the game into a joke. However their chairman or whoever must sanction it.

Simple solution, you can generally see what's going to happen early doors, so the ref should waft some cards about and add on the correct time at H/T and not the cursory 1 minute or 2 minutes if there's been stoppages. Send out the right messages and don't let the players take the p.ss. It would save Cooky some beer money.

Wonderful to see the equaliser come in time added on for time-wasting. If I was a player, I'd feel insulted by the idea that I had to use shithousery to win a game. Which - chronic lack of ability aside - is why I never became a player, I suppose.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Was that a full five minutes of no football for no good reason at all?

What's the betting Marc White turns it into a publicity stunt.

Here's hoping they get stung by a hefty fine for failing to control their players by the relevant body. Hang on, what relevant body?
