Brian the Miller on Radio Dee Dah phone in who seems to know nothing about any other club apart from his beloved Rotherham asked last night is there somebody called Berry at Chesterfield? When told there is said somebody had told him he?s coming to Rotherham in January..
It?s probably a nothing rumour but surely Berry?s sights should be set higher than Rotherham which is barely a step up from us.

There was a post doing rounds on Facebook from Yorkshire post where they?d asked some AI thing to predict January transfers. It had berry going to Rotherham so he?s likely been confused by that.

The same AI says Steve Fletcher coming here on loan from Wrexham. Are they stocking walking sticks in the club shop.

That would make my day, even if he never played a game.

AI, is very helpful in many different situations, but predicting transfers,I think not. According to someone I know, whose been a season ticket holder for many years, Rotherham are so poor he thinks they may do a double drop. More chance Evans will go for an additional defender or defensive midfielder.
If Berry does go, it'll be a bench sitting exercise for a Championship club, say Blackburn or Coventry.

It?ll be to who ever offers Town and Berry the best deal. I still don?t think he?s a world beater yet by any stretch.

I go along with this. He?s a good player with lots of potential but does have a tendency to drift in and out of games, particularly in the latter stages. I think the ideal time to capitalise on him, providing he remains injury free would be Jan 26.

He could well be our first ?m player.

We already have had a player sold for over a million.

I really can't see Berry going to Rotherham either, as he isn't an Evans kind of player, and Evans maybe out of a job by the end of the year, with one or two supporters wanting a younger hungry manager. Younger, maybe, but they'll not get hungrier than the pie muncher.

Why would Berry go to a downwardly mobile outfit the same size as our upwardly mobile one....?
