If he goes back I still think it will be because someone else is interested (loan or fee)

You have to be very old to get it.

A bit of a Cowboy thing going on here. I remember trying to watch the wide open spaces of the wild west on a not so wide 12" screen, and the red Indians were the same colour grey as the cowboys 🤔.

Hence why they may want to keep him from being cup-tied. Maximise any transfer fee. If nobody wants him he may end up staying here to seasons end. Just keeping their options open.

Maybe they wouldn't get that if he moved to here as we'd have contributed to his development??

Any development fee if eligible would be minimal bearing in mind he?s not been there that long and they paid half a million for him to start with.

You would think Stoke will be thinking of recalling Nathan Lowe after his storming start to the season. Recalls wont just affect us.

If that's the case, what's the earliest date that we can get him to sign a pre-contract agreement with us? The chances of him being recalled and signing a new contract at Blackburn must be minimal. Thinking on though, perhaps the loan agreement forbids it.

He can sign one with a team outside of the English structure from
Jan 1st onwards. In terms of an English club I don?t think he can sign anything really binding as such he just can?t sign for us officially until his rovers contract expired.

Well last week I spoke to Plymouths assistant manager who is from town and still lives up here and he says he tried 3 times to get Markandey on loan before we did and I fully expect them to go back in if recalled

Plymouth are gash.
He'd probably make an impression there cos he is decent, but they would still be a poor side
