If this is true, Fleck, I think it puts to bed the Naylor back in centre mid debate.
Cook obviously see's Naylor as a centre back and the starting point of our attacks from that position. I personally think it would be the right decision.

Certainly needed a direct CM replacement to keep Tom at CB. Hopefully we'll see a two of Metcalfe and Fleck before long.

Tough to say too much until he's playing every week but this is just another unbelievable bit of work from the Kirks and Cookie, what a club.

Fleck is an unbelievable signing for us. In the past we've had some fantastic ex Sheffield United players over the years, and I know he hasn't come directly from the Lane, but I hope he slots right in. Whether it's Tom Naylor or one of the other midfielders he teams up with,this will be a real upgrade.
