Oldham Away end holds appx 3,750 so they are losing potentially 2,000 tickets in revenue. I guess this doesnt come into it when they are trying to balance out the "high risk" game/ policing factor. As a matter of interest how many did Wrexham get last year... ?

Looks like they got an initial allocation of 2300 but think someone said they got 3000 in the end.

I have no recollection of the home game with them last season, seems we lost 1-0 and think it was during that bad run we had. Really cant remember anything "kicking off" at either game last season. This season was all them piling onto the pitch etc.

We battered them but just couldn't score. It was one of Unsworths first games in charge if I remember correctly.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

It’s always silly to limit the number of away tickets if there is space to accommodate the away fans, as all it does is encourage away fans to buy tickets in the home end. Surely it’s better and easier to have all the away fans in the same part of the ground.

Just out of interest, as a season ticket holder and there being a shortfall of around two and a half thousand tickets to satisfy all season ticket holders, how will you make sure you get one?
I was thinking the same , I'm a season ticket holder and have been to every game home and away and I can't say I'll make sure I get a ticket, I've as much chance of 4,000 others !!
Are you a person of interest to our friend Town Fan?

I can see a very hasty rethink if it does end up being when we can potentially win the league!

PC Adam Collins liason officer said at Bromley 1663 ish with a 12.30 ko as Oldham are a tad worried about pitch invasions

That's probably because of the amount of people that have posted on social media that if we were to win the league at their ground, they will invade the pitch.
Some people need their heads looking at 🙈.

Quigs sticks a suspiciously offside winner away in the fifth of four minutes of injury time.

Pitch invasion.

Ref' decides to blow the whistle from the dressing rooms he's removed the teams to offering a play off place chasing Oldham no opportunity to equalise.

Town are therefore promoted.

Someone did mention handbags between away fans after the away game but it would appear the real trouble took place in the car park which hospitalised one of their players.

Brilliant!

Skeggy would be so (em)bracing.

Supporters invade pitch after winning the league title shocker.

Will happen pretty much in every division up and down the land. An early kick off won't change that.

No but heard police are fine with more away fans but it’s Oldham that are digging their heals in apparently.

Can see police wanting more tickets to reduce the threat of away fans in the home ends.

Exactly this …

We should be on all social media outlets saying hundreds of our fans will be going without tickets and put pressure on them releasing more.

Why would Oldham turn down revenue? Unless they've potentially more to lose than the lost income would bring.

Something wrong here.

Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Let’s worry about getting more tickets if/when we sell the ones we are allocated. If it we have already gone up, or can’t that day, then it won’t be such a hot ticket.
