Why have they withdrawn ?

Presumably they read the board after Saturday and thought their money would be better spent elsewhere.

Edit: just read that’s sort of the reason on the other thread.

Seeing as the moderators here are happy for people to be called “peados supporting nonce sympathisers” and do nothing when complaints are lodged- but ban people for starting more than one thread if town lose or put people on review if they moan about ticketing arrangements?

Pretty poor show by any standards really. Whole new set up needed. New site new people administering it.

It is not true that nothing was done, the posting was removed and the poster warned just not banned as you wished

Can we get the crowd funding going? Sure it won't take long to get things covered for a yr or 3
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Seems the best option to me, just need to ascertain if we can get the board upgraded at the same time

It looks like this thread as had to be tidied up due to the usual suspects, once again, politicising everything to their own agenda. Why do they feel the need to ruin threads in every section just to have their political stance voiced to all and sundry, when nobody really gives a toss to what they think?
No wonder reasoned posters want the new board to be without a personal, or political pontificating, section!

Unfortunately the offer of sponsorship of the board has been withdrawn so we are looking for a new one or alternative funding.

Moondog,in hindsight,do you think the sponsorship offer was genuine or was someone pulling our collective chain?

No I think it was genuine knowing the person who made it and can understand his reasoning given I believe he intended to put his firms name to it

My inbox was full, it only stores 100 messages which is totally inadequate, hopefully this can get fixed, I've set up an email address to overcome this which anyone can contact me on, it's [email protected]

I’ve tried to get in touch with Denny but not had any luck so far, I’ll try and give him a call tomorrow and see if I can get what I need. Once I’ve got this I’ll know a bit more about what sort of level of hosting package is needed along with the data migration site as well.

Not sure how I've managed to miss this thread as I've been banging a drum about the board and moving it forward.

Out of interest who actually owns the board, e.g. if someone wanted to sue because of the content here who would they send a letter to? Not saying anyone wants to do this but organisationally it does feel like somone needs to step and take control of the board and be responsible for it as whole rather than well meaning custodians. No offence meant here at all, for the most part looking after this board is a thankless task.

I've offered to help financially and my offer still stands but that needs to be part of a coherent plan to move the board forward and deal with cert issues etc.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I think I've fixed the SSL issue, would you mind letting me know if you're still experiencing it?
