I have heard same as Westbars assumption earlier on this thread. Derbyshire plod don’t want to do Alfreton v Walsall and our game on the same day.

I must have missed the other fixture involving Galatasaray also taking place in Derbyshire that day.

I’m guessing Alfreton v Walsall on Saturday lunchtime played a part in this. Might go along to that now too.

Especially as the game will need a huge police presence to stop those flying coins/darts/golf balls/sofas being directed at the poor whittle worient fans

I notice Stockport fans are complaining that their game has been moved to Sunday 2pm for extended highlights and international coverage. So I guess that might be the reason our game has been shifted.

I've heard that you need a warrant from the Chief Constable if you wish to visit SCS in the coming weeks, and home supporters will be searched for hidden Italian leather lazy boys before the match.

Are they doing that thing where they have a number of games on the Sunday so they can show action as it happens?

I see they couldn’t get away from not having Wrexham on for too long…..

Well if it is any consolation they aren’t on terrestrial television. I think ITVX only pays a fraction of the full fee

Chesterfield v Orient and Aldershot v stockport have been selected by the FA as the matches for showing on their FA Cup international feed on the Sunday afternoon

Viaplay for the Baltic countries and ESPN+ in the States are amongst the TV Companies that will be showing the matches

Slough v Grimsby and Kidderminster v fleetwood were the matches selected from the 1st round so its not difficult to see what type of match the FA will try to select for coverage

there is also a match selected for live TV coverage on the same feed from the 3pm saturday kick offs and Bristol Rovers v Whitby was the match selected from the 1st round

the club will receive a facility fee for the change of date and ko time

The only place the Orient game will be on will either be via a Firestick subscription if it’s being screened overseas or via places like Bet365.
