That's beside the point. Fishini always manages to turn out reams and reams of posts saying pretty much the same thing after a bad performance, yet had nothing to say on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I've stopped caring about what he writes but this is pot/kettle to the extreme.

I generally don't. I wasn't replying to a particular point he made about anything (they're generally tiresome and any sense within them is masked by the foaming-at-the-mouth impression he gives). It was the hypocracy that got me this time.

The really strange thing is the way this board always fills up with your whinings when we lose, but after a win you disappear. Face it, you love us to lose, you'd love us to go down, and you'd love the new stadium to fall through - and all so that you can tell yourself how clever you are. In that opinion you're a minority of one.

You just dont get it do you? Its not about wanting those things to happen its about realising that those things are likely to happen because of the messed up way this club is owned and managed. I was going to say you continue to defend the indefensible yet you cant even do that now its gotten so bad, you prefer to make snide comments and ignore the reality of whats going on.

i am worried about going down. the loss of extra revenue could be a fatal blow. wasnt hurst goal worth an alledged £250k? so i really really really dont want us to go down.

I hesitate to step into somewhere near the middle of this but surely we are talking about differing perceptions of what the future holds.
I think we will stay up; get a new ground and to complete the hat trick, arrive at a more secure CFC organisation in the near future.
I have no problem with anyone taking a different view.
I do grit my teeth, just a little, when people are challenged to "defend to indefensible". That says "I have no respect for your views".
To take one example from yesterday, after that very disappointing result:
"How can any of you defend a performance like that today, this team was put out by Mac ......"
Well who would? , it was dire, but why expect anyone to scrape up many positives? We reflect what can happen in sport and last week surely tells us not to take for granted or come to that, sack manager, board, etc
In short try not to get so ... angry... even though you care.

i see.
how about the CFSS giving up on fundraising, without bothering to consult members? or turning funding down? ignoring offers of fundraising help?
what message does that send out to the fans? stuff you lot? "we have no respect for you, we just want your money while we sit on our hands"?
that is totally and utterly indefensible.
and whats next? blame the clubs woes this season on stay away fans? is thereany wonder fans are staying away? you would have to be blind not to see the ineptitude shown by those at the big table
still, they can always blame the fans, like hubbards "gamble" on clingan statement last year.

My point about defensible/undefensible was about the style of the debate, not about the view expressed.
As far as CFSS is concerned I will exercise my vote.
I have not noted many minds being changed on the issue of ownership via the message board debate, so I will trust the democratic process. When we get the chance.

Rewriting history by distortion again? To put the record straight, Mr. Hubbard said that he did not propose to gamble the club's scarce resources at a time when a play-off position and lots of goals had produced absolutely no increase in gates. In that he was absolutely correct, despite the frothing of a few fools who would have had us go into disastrous debt levels in the hope of a few more points.
As for the rest of the post you know the answer, even if you don't like it - if you can do any better, get on with it.
