Will Grigg is one of our main strikers, he doesn't play in yellow and blue nor has he chosen the colour red above that of blue. He's our player not a rival's player. Eion Doyle went through this, and so has Liam Mandeville. Have faith and stop being hyper-critical. He's one of us while he wears the shirt just like the rest of the squad. We can debate the odd missed chance or drop in form, but we've played six matches and he's scored two which ain't bad. Give him a chance, and he'll be fine.

Of course it would,but you are allowed to have opinions on players on a message board,I have my favourites who I rave about but I question others,who are either sloppy in possession ,make weekly basic errors or simply don't appear to be offering as much as I'd expect them to be.

I'd like to see what the team looks like with the young lad from Ipswich playing up top for a bit, seems like this team would be perfect for a "Dallas Type" player. Grigg does what he does and he's been trying to get into the game but there's a big disconnect between him and the rest of the team at the moment.

I'm sure with a few more games he'll have a few more goals and the doubters will stop

If he doesn't go out on loan I'll be surprised, because he needs to be playing competitive matches, and with only five subs allowed, he'd only ever likely get bench time in cup matches. He does look sharp though.

Although I feel inclined to say that those complaining that you're "not allowed an opinion" tend to be just griping that others have a different one. Which is ironic. Anyway, I really think he'll hit the 20 mark this season. If he scores on Satdi he'll still be on course for a goal every other game. Can't fault that return.

I sincerely hope he does anything to get out this dreadfull league ,but he has to be more involved or find a way to be,creating space for others is baloney,he has to have the ball at his feet to score and his amount of touches per game isn't enough at present imo.
