Anyone care to speculate who these people are and more importantly what do they actually do to earn such significant earnings?

Has it not occurred to you that “these people” include the Management Team and some of the players?

If that were the case, footballers would also be on this list surely? Chesterfield football club has its own separate accounts?
The numbers dont add up for players to be included.

I'm trying to work out how many rules that would flout by paying playing staff from a different company.

The average monthly number of employees, including the directors, during the year was as follows:
2022 2021
No. No.
Number of management, players and coaches 35 34
Number of administrative, commercial, conference and banqueting and
community staff 81 67
Number of matchday staff 61 57
177 158
35 management, coaches and players accounted for.
So I ask again, who are the people on 100k + working for the community trust.

Why would management and playing staff be paid directly by the Trust? The Trust own the club but aren’t the club. In the same way the Kirk’s have business interests and have significant ownership % of the club, but I wouldn’t expect any of our players / backroom staff wages to show directly on their seperate business bank sheets?
I might be wrong but I think TF could be right and these wages could be senior members of the trust? If so, hefty wages for a charity.

From memory, I think it said in the notes for that page that the information primarily related to key CFC staff.

The wages total in value in the Group accounts does include the footballers. Except the majority earn under £80k pa, so are not included in the listing.
It’s all about giving the number of high earners - in this case those earning >£80k.
Per note 11 of the Group accounts- Trust salaries £386k. Football related salaries £3.5M.

Well thats just not true is it. Forgetting I've already shown you that player wages are in the CFC 2001 accounts already.....
The the threshold for reporting salary figures for a charity is 60 k. 60k is what slightly over a grand a week, the majority of players would be on this at least. The numbers dont support your theory as there are only 2 people who get 60-70k, I think you are making it up? Why? What are people hiding?

So they are being paid by CFC 2001 Ltd AND CHESTERFIELD F C COMMUNITY TRUST?
How do the league feel about players being paid from outside the football club? Funds may have been made available but I dont believe that players are being paid directly by the Community Trust. The numbers of only 10 people above 60k DO NOT ADD UP.
What are the pension liabilities on 3.5 million alone?

Perhaps you need to study Group accounts preparation. See you in 5 years.
Call me what you like, but don’t call me a liar.
I've been through the accounts and it makes no mention of players wages in fact...
Key management personnel is considered to be the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Finance Officer,
the Company Secretary and the Football Club Manager
Nice work if you can get it. You can see why the Trust doesnt want anybody questioning what goes on and why they dont want investment watering down their cushy jobs. At least Cookie is offering some value.

You're asking him about how the league feels.
He's an accountant not a mind reader.
